THE COMPANY

This company is changing the way people watch, stream, and shop. They are a small team in NYC scaling rapidly and looking to bring on backend API/AWS infrastructure-focused engineers to help them get to the next level!

THE ROLE

As Staff Software Engineer, you will work directly with the VP of Engineering and CTO on scaling backend APIs and AWS infrastructure. Further responsibilities include:

• Working on integrations
• API design and development, and building metadata processing systems
• Reorganizing and generalizing the platform's codebase
• Scaling AWS infrastructure, and wearing multiple hats SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Strong Experience in the AWS cloud environment
  • Expert coding ability in Node.JS, Python, and React
  • Professional experience using Docker
  • Expertise working on data-intensive applications
  • The ability to translate business requirements into software!
    
    THE BENEFITS
    
    As Staff Software Engineer, you will receive up to $210,000 base salary depending on experience. This role also includes equity, health, dental, and vision care.
